Then moved back to Urban Landscapes -- building and sign portraits, which carried over to my work in Taiwan, "Mien," after which I concentrated on the beautiful brick farmhouses built in the 19th century: "Endangered Species."
On return to the U.S., slipped into another series of buildings in the beach area, contemplating the nature of how time alters space: "Holes in Reality," in which two times intersect.
At present I am working my way back into painting again, after spending the last 6-8 years doing fashion doll makeovers: a break I took to keep from getting stale and that would challenge me: moving from CA to TX unsettled me, as I had just settled on what I would work toward in a series: Los Angeles is an architectural treasure of styles and ages and the series and I were uprooted; the dolls provided a different focus to soften the blow. Burning out on dolls now and itching to do some brushwork on paper & canvas.
